Yes geek brothers & sisters, I finally finished Halo 3 on Heroic – I’m glad I did it, but as I suspected the Flood showcase level Cortana was a little tedious. I can really do without enemies that don’t die when I kill them times infinity; I get it, they’re space zombies ( so why doesn’t the shotgun work better against them? ), but it’s just not that much fun, you know? So no more Flood in Halo 4, OK? Great!
I assume you saw the teaser trailer for Street Fighter 4 – it looks like 3D. It fucking better be after 10 years, Capcom, you can do a 2D version for the DS ( it’s got a great D-pad ). If the game actually looks like that though – nice.
I can’t wait to get my hands on Virtua Fighter 5 – I play the demo constantly, let’s hope it come out a little early. I’m very happy with the Mad Catz controller, it looks like I won’t need to get a bank account depleting arcade stick. Thank goodness, because I would have – I’m not “smart” with money ( unless it’s smart to spend it all as soon as you get it – then I really am ).
Animal Crossing Update – The money tree is actually growing. Good God, how much do I actually need one of these things… Nothing else seems to be going on in my little town, maybe it’s time to write my neighbors some letters or visit them? Or continue to ignore them & pursue my own interests – that’s more like it. What was I thinking? A town full of cartoon ingrates, freaks & disgusting cheapskates – & still no flamethrower at the Delphi Walmart. Oh well.
That’s about it for now, still enjoying Bleach, still no Orange Box.
Happy Marios.

The flood were pretty cool in halo 1, but if they take forever to kill, i’m staying away. Thanks for the info.
Ugh – I just finished the Cortana level on Heroic a few days ago. It was a real chore. At least I can look forward to enjoying the rest of the game now!
Except, as mentioned in my latest post ( The World’s Laziest Blogger ), a myriad of tiny but fun-destroying unskipable cut-scenes mar replayability.
Sorry it took so long to reply – the “reason” is explained in the above mentioned new post.
