If there’s one thing Infinity Ward doesn’t know how to fix, it is the glitch issues present in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (aka MW2). Whether you find yourself playing Team Deathmatch or Ground War, you can’t seem to escape the wrath of the opposite team and may often fall victim to the players glitching the game. Unfortunately, although Infinity Ward has time again discussed the many glitches present in the game, they’re slow to patch up the major problems that plague the unsuspecting team.

It is estimated that about 95% online matches now make use of the Infinite Care Package glitch being put to use, which drops a care package with either a handy aircraft such as a Harrier or a Chopper Gunner or a seemingly useless weapon resupply. So what exactly does the Infinite Care Package glitch do? After a player makes a couple of moves here and there (I am not going into detail on how to do it to discourage anyone from trying), he is able to call a care package in and keep calling one in, one after another. One Chopper Gunner alone is enough to take down the team again and again, causing a shared feeling of relief once a Stinger finally puts it down. Whether you choose to share these packages with the rest of the team or choose to indulge in all of them alone, beware.

Infinity Ward has expressed their thoughts on the current glitch issue and is currently working to patch it up. According to Robert Bowler (Creative Strategist of MW2), the glitch was “…already fixed locally, and the patch should be entering certification process.” To any players that are currently glitching, your “glory” days are almost over, so enjoy them while they last. Cheating doesn’t show that you have any skill, it proves the opposite. Play an honest game and just have fun. To those who are currently affected by the glitch, have faith, it’ll be fixed soon. [Not] all will be right, but it’ll be one step closer to improvement.

I’m sure even after the patches, people find ways around them as they’ve already found it.
Today alone, in one match, there were a ridiculous amount of glitches being done in a match of Domination in Rundown.
