This is a good suggestion, I enjoy playing Trine 2 on 360 both 2- and 3-player.

Local multiplayer PC games are a rare breed! Nearly all of the ones I've played have been turn-based hotseat games. Or Jazz Jackrabbit. Or crappy Flash games.

The PC versions of Left 4 Dead and its sequel retain the splitscreen capability of the 360 versions, though the option's been removed from the menus and it's a bit buggy:

Although you'll need an actual 360 controller, I'm pretty sure other pads won't work.

His destructive programming is taking effect. He will be irresistibly drawn to large cities, where he will back up sewers, reverse street signs, and steal everyone's left shoe.

626 was designed to be a monster, but now he has nothing to destroy. You see, I never gave him a greater purpose. What must it be like to have nothing, not even memories to look back on in the middle of the night?

Have never played it but as far as I know Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light has a very solid local co-op mode. If you want something fun and silly you can always aim for some of the newer 2D Worms.

Thats true, somehow they have disapeared with time. Currently i have need for speed hot pursuit 2, just because its the most recent version of NFS wich has multiplayer mood I dont mind playing some of the old games as long as they ok

Re: Multiplayer PC games

Shank

Fun game. Local multiplayer, no ugly split-screen either. Plus, the mechanics are particularly well suited for gamepads.
