Congratulations on being nominated as VGGotW... Hope you have a remarkable week!

Seems like a good time for my questions...

#1 Do you own any games that you have not yet played?
#a If so, which unplayed game are you most likely to play next?
#b Is there a game that is likely never to be played? If so, why?

#2 What one feature of the videogamegeek.com website would you most like to change (or add)?

#3a What videogame universe would you most like to live in?
#3b and with which videogame character(s)?

#4 What one game from your early days would you most like to see remade for one of the modern platforms?

#5 What game that you've played for the first time this year did you enjoy the most? If none, then what game are you most excited about playing for the first time this year?

#6a Are you interested in the Olympics at all, and did you see the opening ceremony?
#6b What sports are you keen to watch?

Thank you!

1. Yes, I do, but mostly Japanese titles. Japan produces a ton of games and their old/used market is chock-a-bock full of games. I buy them by the basket full.
1.a. Probably たままゆものがたり (Tamama yumono gatari), because the art is SO Studio Gibli.
1.b. Perhaps any number of the "Simple 2000" games. After playing through a couple, I've decided not to pick any more up. I probably will pop them in, though, just to really make sure...

2. Well, the allowance of more pictures was high on my list, and I'm glad that that wind of change is blowing favorably. Otherwise, just my usual: Fix the universal log-in because I still have to log into the areas separately.

3.a. Valkyrie Profilebecause I rather like falable gods, an afterlife that's even more work than living, and winged clothing.
3.b. I'd like to live in that world, but as a mecha pilot, ala Front Mission.

4. Milon's Secret Castle. HATED that game. I see it reimagined as Castlevania III meets Rygar... You know, dripping 2-D platform goodness with a touch of unreality.

5. I have to go with the game I'm looking forward to Wasteland 2, though I believe it's out next year. I pledged to some Kickstarter titles, which may be released this year though, including Volgarr the Viking and Star Command.

6.a. I really dug it when I worked in the fitness field. Now, not so much. When I make the rounds at work I see people watching it and so have caught glimpses of gymnastics and ping pong, but only when Japan is playing. No, I did not see the opening ceremony.

6.b. I've never been a sports fan in the couch or bar stool sense. I've been an athlete instead. Growing up was a steady progress in breaking the bod. I've collected injuries large and small from my stints as a lettering wrestler, soccer player, track and fielder, American football wide reciever, basketball player, and volleyball player. I also broke some things as a martial artist, rock climber, SCUBA diver, body-builder, mountain biker, and moron jumping off the roof of my house--and other high places. I've enjoyed water sports of all kinds and look forward to continuing those injury free. I also jog.

Thank you again!

LET IT BE KNOWN
I hope everyone takes a shot at the poll:

If you happen to guess it right, then I'll send each winner 5gg.

Thanks for playing!

Back in the days when there were less maps we played every map back to back

Ooh a little higher, now a bit to the left, a little more, a little more, just a bit more. Oooh yes, that's the spot!

Thank you!

1. I believe I played the first, and quickly discovered that it was not my kind of game. I also don't do Nobunaga, Populous, etc. I did Sim City for a bit (the love of architecture and mini), but pass on life-simulation by-and-large so even games like Animal Crossing seem totally mental to me.

2. I'm ok with both, and plenty of the zany attempts to marry the two. Because I'm a traditional RPG video gamer, though, I might be a pixel on the turn-based side.

3. Ah! That would be those massive black floppies back in junior high. Wow, we've come a long way since those days! Of course, now we're dinosaurs if we aren't digitally downloading.

Thank you again!

Re: VGGeek of the Week #73 - (awakeneddragon)
Aaaaaaaaaand the correct answer to the poll was Front Mission 3! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this game. Why? I've been to the countries featured, love mechs, and though flawed I love firing this title up and stomping my way happily through it.

I see only TWO people voted this one, and to those that "know me best" please PM me for your GG!

Thanks again to all that participated, and asked questions!
