It's about time I finally got around to doing my first true tabletop review. While I did a video dedicated to the Star Wars LCG, that was more of me just fanboying for a few mintues than a true in-depth look at the game. Here's the first- hopefully of many- board games I'll be reviewing.

In addition to looking at my personal copy of Ultra Tiny Epic Kingdoms, I'll also be using the Tabletop Simulator DLC to compare it to the original version, as well as doing a brief overview of the DLC itself and how well it stacks up.

"Video game". "Board game". "Card game". We say "game" a lot, but have you ever tried to actually define it? Of course, the first place to look is in the dictionary, but take a moment and look it up- chances are you won't get a very satisfying definition if you look there. So let's look deeper and discuss in-depth: What exactly is a game? After you've watched the video, I'd love to hear what your definition of a game is, how it differs from mine, and what helped you reach that conclusion.

Please note that this is a very different discussion from the BGG rules of "What is a board game?", and is not meant to be a counterargument against said rules.

Today I'm wrapping up Sega Month by taking a look at Phantasy Star IV; though I've a great deal of experience with RPGs in general and JRPGs in particular, this is the first time I've really had a chance to dive into Phantasy Star. How well does this Genesis classic hold up without nostalgia goggles? Let's find out!

My apologies for honestly forgetting the blog feature exists on the Geek network. I will be endeavoring to try and get these up more often in the future, and might even post some from my backlog.

Today I'll be doing a brief overview of the Total War series and my experiences with it. What keeps bringing me back to these titles time and time again, and what are my favorites among them? Let's find out together!

Greetings fellow fanatics! For this week's vlog, I'm taking a look at free semi-official Tabletop Simulator mods. What do I mean by "semi-official"? These are games that have been put on TTS by their designer- or someone hired by their designer- to promote it. A mod must have at least the full base game to qualify for this list.

In order of appearance:
A.E.G.I.S.: Combining Robot Strategy Game (includes promos)
HERO: The Card Game (external link to official website no BGG entry yet)
Auriferous
Hit Me!
Pixel Tactics Deluxe (includes Pixel Tactics 1-5 and Deluxe, plus many [all?] promos. Does not include Mega Man crossovers)
Millennium Blades (includes all currently released expansions, but no Dice Tower promo)
