Versailles 1919 by Mark Herman and Geoffrey Engelstein finally arrived. I immediately unwrapped the game and already tested (twice!) the solitaire variant. It is pretty challenging - more in below article!

Today I am focusing on my top 3 favorite Worker Placement Games. The choice was not an easy one as there are many excellent titles on the market. In the end, the subjective personal preference was a decisive factor Enjoy short article!

Such a great solitaire experience - especially on higher difficulty levels - Pavlov's House from Dan Verssen Games (DVG) by David Thompson (I). If you managed to beat the game in regular set-up, try some of the variants - they will test you to the limits but are also very rewarding and provide rich experience. More in below article - enjoy!

The more I play SpaceCorp the more I appreciate it - not only as space-themed title, but a family game. It is such a great lesson of move / explore / build - i.e. humans travel into the space. And what is most interesting for everybody? Aliens! Another session with family, enjoy the AAR!

We are getting deeper into the Gloomhaven world. A very nasty pack meet us in scenario #32. Playing on Very Hard was not an easy task but we finally (barely) managed. More in below article - spoilers (items characters possible).

After almost 40 scenarios played I appreciate and like Gloomhaven very much. Recently, a new player was introduced to our group and it was a good time to look back at the rules which caused us most trouble - so he can avoid it. As we started to compile the list, the idea for article grew. Below register of the most common mistakes of our group. Enjoy and hopefully that will be helpful for you!

One of the best COIN games - Falling Sky - got some time a wonderful expansion - Ariovistus. I finally had a chance to play it and although it was a painful start as Caesar quickly crushed Gaul, I really appreciate the design. Details in below session report - more will come as we already started second game!
