Welcome to the sure-to-be-massive, soon-to-be-out-of-control Geeklist where VGGers rejoice in beating games large and small, new and old. Here's how this works:

Whenever you finish a game, add it to the list and share your thoughts. Use your best judgement for exactly WHEN a game is 'beaten:' 'final boss defeated,''saw the credits,' 'completed the main storyline,' '100%' etc. Whatever seems reasonable and is the end for you.

These lists have been running since 2011 and tend to draw a lot of conversation. Feel free to offer whatever commentary you like on the game and your experience playing it. Be brief or thorough, broad or narrow - its up to you.

To get started, tell us what platform you played the game on and whether or not you've beaten it before.

There are always some "power-users" on this list who play a lot of games and have a lot to say about them. Don't feel like you have to contribute as much or as often somebody else - we like to hear from new folks and nobody really cares if you're "keeping up with the Joneses."

To all new users: the more the merrier. We try to keep it lively and friendly. There is no need to read through every page before jumping in (though you are encouraged to do that at your leisure.) Be sure to subscribe to this list so you can see what everyone else is playing!

Also head on over to Video Games Abandoned by VGGers in 2014 if a game is driving you nuts or just isn't any good! If you want to see what VGGers were up to in years past, look here.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Should I add a game to this list if it has already been added by somebody else?
A: Of course!

Q: Should I add a game to list more than once if I beat it more than once?
A: No, but feel free to update your original item or add a new comment beneath it.

Q: I wrote something for this list that seems review-ish. Should I cross-post it as a review?
A: If you are so inclined, cross-post away.

Q: Who are you and what have you done with Kevin??
A: Kevin, who, for those of you just now joining us, used to run these lists, asked me to take over this year. Challenge accepted! Hope to see you around in the future, Kevster.

VGGer extraordinaire Grimwold hosts a useful sorting mechanism for these lists through his own site (oh, it seems weird now, just wait until there are 1000+ items). This lets you see what individual users have beaten (sort by user) and also how many times a game has been beaten, and by whom (sort by game).

Completion: Dusted this off to show my brother-in-law, and got half-way through the game in one sitting. Found it thoroughly enjoyable so I blitzed my way to the credits.

This is my second time completing the campaign. I tried to beat the game on hard, but found that to be too punishing by the end of Act 1.

One of the things that makes me sad about this game is that it doesn't have a New Game+ feature, which would be really handy given how many different weapons there are and how long it takes to build them up.

I'd love to change up my weapons of choice, but the Assault Rifle and Heavy Machine Gun are so much more common than anything else (which makes them level up faster) that it's hard to get away from them. This is one of the only real beefs I have with Vanquish, but at least it's a replayability issue and not a playability issue.

I've been thinking about it, though, and I bet I can max out the Assault Rifle during the first bossfight and then lean heavily on that while I build up a couple of other things. May try the Shotgun and Armor-piercing pistol, as I imagine both would be devastating in bossfights. I'll post a follow-up comment if I make another run.

Commentary: For detailed and glowing commentary, check out my entry on last year's list.

Vanquish is a slick action game with ridiculously well-polished mechanics and an unrivaled sense of flow. It looks great and feels great. I wish it had a New Game+ mode. I wish it didn't downgrade your weapons when you die. I wish the more exotic half of the game's arsenal weren't so uncommon that they become impractical to upgrade. That last one is a biggie. The game screams replayability and then gets some of the math wrong.

That's really all it is. You could leave everything else in tact (levels, enemies, etc), mod a few values in the code, and improve the game from an 8 to a 9. I suppose you can kind of "hack" things into shape by grinding the first boss for half an hour.

The combat experience is the best of any shooter released on consoles.

SNES - aprox. 2 hours and a half to finish

It has been so much time since I played any game on the SNES, and it feels soo good. Even though it's not one of the best games on the system, I enjoyed it, for the nostalgia and for the game itself. Diving and flying is a lot of fun, takes a bit of practice and you will need to master it in order to progress, but it's so satistying to pull out. There are some really frustating and unfair parts (specially in the tunnels) but it's a good game.

Nothing better than starting the new year with an old game

Completed this game for the first time, on the PC. Easy combat difficulty. Played it co-op with my partner. It took us just over 7 hours to complete the main campaign according to the in-game clock.

Enjoyment: Medium-High to High-Very High

I was looking for a game which could take advantage of two gamepads I chose as a gift for my birthday for a while. My partner is struggling with keyboard/mouse controls, but when I gave her a pad to try out with a game, she was able to pick it up and play in almost no time, so there was another incentive for me to look for a co-op game which makes use of a gamepad. I tried Jamestown, but found it seriously lacking. I bought Rayman Origins, but the co-op in that game isn't really anything more than an optional way to make things more crazy and chaotic - which isn't bad, but it just wasn't what I was looking for. But it seems I struck a gold vein with this 2010 twin-stick-shooter/puzzler.

My partner enjoyed this game a lot, despite complaining that she's not as good as I was in it, but the discrepancy between our skill levels wasn't as big an issue as she made it look. This game does a good job of not really punishing a player who's not doing so well - there's nothing that rubs statistics in your face and the progression requires both players to contribute and do tasks which require a degree of skill.

There's a fair amount of replayability in this title, with a lot of optional side-quests and trying to beat scores in order to gain rewards. There's a lot of weapons to choose from, and a lot of powerups to mix and match in order to do some limited customisation of your play style. I also bought the three DLC packs so we can have some more fun with this game. We'll see if we get around to it, but there's a good chance we will.

I haven't played much of the game single player, but as a form of research I might try it out and see how it differs in the level make-up from the co-op missions. Since the game isn't too complex, I don't think there's all that much fun left in it for me, but as a short-but-sweet experience, this comes highly recommended. As another user,

mentioned in her review, if you've got a co-op partner to try this game out with, it makes even more sense to seek it out. The game doesn't have any real flaws, outside of a "take-it-or-leave-it" way of handling player distance (since all the action takes place on a single screen, you can't move away from one another all that much - and there are some sections in which you might actually kill your partner's character because of a jump). There are some tougher sections, but only one or two of these make you feel like they're unfair. The controls are, for the most part, very responsive and slick, so no issues there. Graphics look fine, no graphical bugs I noticed. The soundtrack is a little bit bland, but I can let it slide because it has a few good tracks.

All in all, recommended.

It is hard to believe I passed this off as a generic platform game. Well, it isn't very complicated, but it is a great game. The game tells a story of a set of rectangles who have been set free in a computer system. The rectangles have to escape. Through the levels, the story is told by the narrator and portrays all the personalities of the different rectangles. This story is what sets the game above. The story draws you in and you can see the personalities of the different rectangles.

Thomas the salmon rectangle who starts the game. Chris, a stout orange square who is self conscious because he can't jump high. John, a tall yellow rectangle who likes to show off. Claire the big blue square who finds she is a superhero because she can float on water. Laura the pink rectangle who is a trampoline. James is inverted and people shy away from his weirdness. Sarah is full of energy and this little purple rectangle can double jump.

The platforming aspects aren't too difficult. There are couple of challenges. One level near the end (where the rectangles are grey and can get different powers) stumped me for a bit. All in all, you could do worse for $10 (full price). Currently on sale for $2.50 on Steam. That is a steal.

First (and last) time

About 15 hours to get all starites.

Thoughts:

Light creative kids game that has a very big dictionary. You need to solve problems by using your notepad to create something. The game allows for a lot of creativity as you can make people, objects or modify by adding adjectives. For example if someone is sick you could: a) create a doctor b) create medicine. C) add adjective healthy.

There are also hundreds of 'Easter eggs' and things that interact with each other. Many of these are found in the shards menu which gives hints at what you can put together. Many items can also be used and some can be combined.

Overall it isn't difficult and you only need about 50% of the main story to win. So it is accessible to kids. But quite a few answers relate to pop culture ie lord of the rings or don Quixote who I had to Wikipedia to find out who he was!

There is also an object suggestor that can help you with spelling or mistypes. It also has some crazy word you may never had heard of before.

Overall 7/10

First Time Beaten? No.

This was the play through where I supported Ceaser's Legion, done strictly because I want to 100% this game. It's funny, but for the most part I have a hard time enjoying myself playing through the evil side of a game (I'm currently having the same difficulty with a Renegade Mass Effect play through). So my Ceaser's Legion backing courier was still more benevolent than not. It doesn't hurt that most of the quests (The main way to earn experience in this game) push your alignment towards good.

It'll be a while before I play this again, but next time, Dr. Steel will be trying to become World Emperor of the Mojave Wasteland!!

7. Video Game: Assassin's Creed III [Average Rating:6.93 Overall Rank:885]
Video Game: Assassin's Creed III
Platform: PC
When: about an hour ago
How long: about 24 hours
What: Main story

When I first started the game I was eager to to complete everything, to 100% this game. But the characters were so annoying and then I realized that the main game starts way later so I skipped through the whole boring part. That took quite some time, a shame really as you always had the feeling that no matter what you do it changes nothing. So I kept playing until I could manage my own household (damn took that long) and then was disappointed as I had no clue how that worked. How to level up your artisans? Couldn't find hints. How to upgrade your house? No hints. How to select a painting for the wall? No hints. So I skipped that part and concentrated on the unlocks.

But those were boring too so I concentrated on the main missions. But those were also very boring. Most of the time you had to do stuff that was not worthy for an assassin. Always being spotted in cutscenes, paroding around like an idiot etc.

And then this annoying Animus stuff or whatever that is called. Even the production value of those scenes is below par. People walking in the air or through walls etc. Very bad.

Overall I am happy that I have this game off my back.

I'm glad to have gone through this game so that I can listen to a few podcasts I've been putting off so as to not spoil the game for myself. I guess the prevailing thought on my mind now is that I'm glad to have played the game so that I can immerse myself in the ongoing discussion surrounding the game.

Clocktime: Reached the main gate the first time in 32 minutes. Second time in 3:19. For some reason I didn't get the chance to save after the credits (maybe that only happens the first time you clear the game), so I'm going to have to ballpark the overall time at 4 hours.

Completion: This is my second time completing Ico, on the heels of my first run late last year. I cut my playtime nearly in half. For the most part, my flow was unbroken. I got hung up for a moment near the very end of the Stone Pillar sequence (when you briefly come back through the sewers) and in the West Reflector area (moving too quickly, missed a switch). And of course it took me 20 tries (at least) to get the piston and water wheel jumps (grrrr). Fat-fingered a jump and had to re-do the whole Water Tower sequence. Other than that, smooth sailing.

Saw the translated dialog, got the hilarious super weapon, saw the slightly different ending.

Commentary: Brilliant game. Loved it from start to finish, both times. A second playthrough deepened my appreciation because you can more clearly see how it all fits together. I also noticed that a few of the early, large-scale fights with shadows can be skipped altogether if you're quick and bring Yorda straight to the sealed door.

If you like games with a strong sense of exploration, a rich and ponderous atmosphere, a somewhat haunting feeling of solitude, and some puzzles where you are genuinely left to your own devices (no hand-holding), this is close to perfect.

For my commentary on the game, take a look here:

http://videogamegeek.com/geeklist/151365/item/2993641#item29...

This is a completion on Hard difficulty, which took me about 4 hours (maybe longer, I can't tell how well it saves my times). Knowing where I need to go (and skipping the Infierno challenges altogether) made this playthrough a lot faster - in fact, the only places I ever really got stuck were a couple of the locked beat-em-up sections and the bosses. The final boss I got on the second try, but X'Tabay and Javier were considerably harder. Flameface was also harder, but not as bad as those two (I might go so far as to say that Javier is a bit unfair on hard mode). Other than that though, it wasn't noticeably more difficult because I was a lot better at not getting hit.

This time around I noticed a distinct annoyance - unless I missed it, there are only auto-saves, and you have to make absolutely sure it saves before quitting or you might lose some progress.
(is there a save option somewhere and I'm just a doofus? Please inform.)

11. Video Game: The Bridge [Average Rating:5.99 Overall Rank:4659]
Video Game: The Bridge
Platform: PC

Time: 2 Hours

My first game completed is one that was a part of Steam's winter sale. How the hell did that happen?

Well, it happened because the game is relatively short. The Bridge is a puzzle game where you navigate Escher-like environs as...MC Escher? I never quite got the "plot" that they were wrapping around to try to tie this together. Anyways, I'm a fan of Escher's work and puzzle games, so it was only natural that I pick this up.

You use a controller for this game, using the trigger buttons to rotate the environment, use the stick to control Escher. B is used to rewind time and A is used to manipulate the inverters you find later on. The goal is to get to the exit, usually by finding your way there while avoiding evil balls. Sometimes, you need to get keys to unlock the doors, or pads that need something on it to activate. Later on you have inverters that move you from one side to another (while changing your color) and you can only manipulate items that are the same color as you. The last group of puzzles have items which have a different gravity orientation and there are areas where you can change that. Those were more like trial-and-error to get right.

Overall, it isn't all that difficult. I was stuck twice, once because the art kinda misled me about where I could go, and the very last puzzle, which I lost patience for. After the end, you can play them all again, with all the areas mirrored and with additional obstacles.

While it is a nice looking game, I didn't think the value was really there. If it ends up being in a bundle at some point, it is certainly worth playing, but I'm not sure I'd pay that much for it.

12. Video Game: Rogue Legacy [Average Rating:7.39 Overall Rank:564]
Video Game: Rogue Legacy
Platform: PC (Steam)

Finished final boss for the first time on New Year's Day.

Out of the 8 or so games I picked up on Steam during their big sale last month, this is definitely my favourite. It brought me back to my childhood roots with its graphics and game play. I concentrated on being the best fighter I could be, taking attack, defense and health powerups over magic. As a consequence I usually passed on taking mages and spellswords in favour of paladins, barbarians and hokages. Liches and spelunkers were also good.

If you haven't played it, and you like a good challenge definitely check it out. If I could give one piece of advice to staying alive longer, try to find and equip the Vampire runes as much as possible. These runes each give you 2 health back for every kill, which doesn't sound like much, but it adds up quickly. The other runes I found useful were Grace and Vault.

Anyway, great idea for a geeklist. Hopefully I'll be adding a few more entries over the course of the year.

Cheers!

My expectations were really really high for this game, mostly because a big youtuber talked a lot about this game, saying it was his favorite game of the year and probably one of the best he have ever played. I don't take everything he says as the truth, but he certainly raised my interest for the game.

And I don't think it's great as he says. You control two brothers trying to find a cure for their dad, who is very sick. The story is not that great, but there are some interesting moments.

Each brother is controlled with one of the sticks of the controller, and each trigger will make the corresponding brother to interact with something near. It takes a while to get used to, you'll often try to change the camera angle with the right stick. The interact button does everything in this game, and each brother will do something different depending on what you are interacting with, and this is necessary to solve the puzzles. The difficulty is not high, it's pretty easy to figure out what to do.

Overall, I think it's a good game, with interesting use of controls, beautiful visual and some great moments.

Game: Risk of Rain
Time req: 5 hours
Platform: PC, Cooperative, 3 Players

One of us played it for the first time so it took a while until we all got a hang of the cooperative play. On one playthrough we managed to beat the temple with my Bandit alone as he was buffed to the limit (above 1.000 hp). But we didn't notice that you now had two options on the teleporter and so started a NG+ or whatever normal people call it instead of fighting the end boss.

On the next playthrough we had two Huntress and one Bandit and we all played them for the first time. It was quite easy to reach the temple and beating that was even easier as two of us had the Laughing Mask or what it is called so that you spawn a ghost every time you kill someone. And the first item I received was the one that gained you one permanent HP for each killed enemy. A powerful combo.

The last level was very irritating as it had an unknown backdrop and we had no idea where we could tread or what can be climbed. Two of us died pretty fast and the third one continued to dodge the enemies and collected keycard, activated multiple teleporters and had no clue what he was doing. Suddenly he faced the end boss and kited him for about 10 minutes always at the edge of death. It was fun to watch and thanks to the not perfect netcode quite difficult to dodge everything. But he managed and so we beat the game for the first time. A masterpiece.

Picked up in the current Humble Bundle. I don't like a lot of phone games, but I enjoyed this one all the way to the end. You have to swipe your finger through various logs all in one swipe to cut through them. It's simple and gets challenging later in the game with various restrictions on how certain logs can be cut through.

First run-through

This game is... a little odd. It looks like a very cute zelda. Although some of the cuteness is slightly dark? Also, it's like an inverse zelda as the combat was much easier, but the puzzles were much harder. There's a whole separate optional dungeon of the most difficult puzzles, which I'd been attempting for a little while, but then I got frustrated and realized I wasn't likely to finish them without looking up hints, and then what's the point? So I just went to fight the final boss and won. It had many forms, but thankfully if you die you restart from the last form, not the first one, so it wasn't nearly so frustrating as it could have been. I'd say overall it was a cute game that did what it said on the tin. Not fantastic, not epic, but fun.

Warning: I'm not spoil-hiding my comments.

First time? Yes
System: PC
Main hero and typical party: Male Dwarf Commoner Warrior, usually grouped with Alistair + Morrigan + Wynne, or Alistair + Leliana + Wynne. I pursued a romance with Morrigan, and let her save my life with the baby. After I got Shale I included her in the party quite often too, but then went back to my original sets.

I didn't care at all for Zevran, Sten, nor Oghren. I had Alistair kill Loghain. I think I only went through all of Morrigan's personal quest; I couldn't seem to get enough approval from Alistair while roleplaying my dwaft the way I wanted to. I did get Leliana to 100 approval, which is too bad cause I was not interested in rp'ing adultery--I'll just have to pursue her in a later play-through. My relations with everyone else (okay, not counting Dog) were pretty low.

I didn't really use the specializations much. I gave Wynne Arcane Warrior but never skilled it, Morrigan Spirit Healer but didn't do much with it, myself Reaver and Champion but really only used rally and war cry, Alistair Reaver for devour, and Assassin for Leliana. Unfortunately due to moving my save files from one computer to another, I lost my previously unlocked specializations, so I lost Shapeshifter, Assassin, and I think Spirit Healer too.(edit: correction)

Opinions
Overall I really enjoyed this game. It's hard to critique some of the technical aspects since I started playing back in 2010 but then forgot about it until late 2013. I'm pretty easy to please graphically so I like all the visuals, and I think the score at the main screen is just amazing. A. The camera was a solid B+. The tactics mechanic--the #1 reason why I wanted this game--was pretty good, A-. My only complaint is that there is no efficient way to group conditionals, nor is there 'programming' space given to accommodate the lack of efficiency. But that complaint is true of any other ally-programming game I've played besides Carnage Heart.
I understand that programming realistic human bodies is hard, but there could have been more body types. Men had 2, women only had 1? I mean, removed of armour, Leliana and Wynne looked exactly the same. (Stripped them of everything in an alternate save to unlock Reaver.) There wasn't a fat person over 5' tall in all the land. C.
I really liked the 3 crafting skills, and the skills vs. talents was a whole different/unusual way to control progression. B+.

Future Plays
I have plans for a female elf rogue who will focus on scouting, trapping, and stealing, and a male human mage who will specialize in Arcane Warrior (for real this time). This time I won't worry about skilling up the crafting abilities for my usual party members and leave that to the ones I leave behind. I'll just restock at camp. That'll leave me room for Combat Mastery and Tactics.
I have zero desire to play any other DLC than Shale's, and have less than zero desire to play DA2 because they removed the programming aspect. To me it's more disappointing when they remove such an uncommon feature than a game series which never had it in the first place.

PS3 version - First playthrough - Normal Difficulty

Finished the main story line quest and the majority of the side missions yesterday (Jan 2nd). I'll be finishing up the last bits of brick-a-brack today hopefully.
I only had two beefs with this game, 1) BUGGY as heck. It actually froze on me a couple of times. 2) The acquisition of new gadgets doesn't work as well for me in this game as it did previously...the previous games rewarded you for acquiring a new gadget by allowing you access to previously unattainable secrets. This game, you are fairly loaded out from the start and only get 3 gadgets that help with secrets.

I was also a little underwhelmed by the use of the "assassins". You go in expecting 8 epic boss fights...you don't get that. Three of the fights are against the same guy. Yo well.

Apart from all that, I enjoyed the game quite a bit. It was similar to the previous ones, but was still it's own game. A good prequel to a good series.

Super Mario Land - GameBoy

Time played: ~30 minutes
Beaten a handful of times

Since Nintendo declared 2013 'The Year of Luigi' I thought maybe I should dub 2014 'Kevin's Year of Mario.' I'm going to try and beat as many Mario games as possible this year. I'm not going to play them in any particular order, but I thought it'd be fun to play a whole bunch and then rank them as I beat them.

Super Mario Land just happened to be the first one I finished. I've been working my way through Super Mario 3D World (spoiler: it's awesome) and decided to play this one as a little break. SML is by no means the most polished Mario game, but I always have a lot of fun with it. I'm surprised every time by how often I'm killed by exploding koopa shells (or as a direct result of trying to avoid exploding koopa shells). The level design is simplistic and at times repetitive, but still enjoyable. And the two shoot-em-up levels are still some of the most fun levels in Mario history. Those need to be brought back.

So, Kevin's Year of Mario has begun!!

Completed the whole campaign. Thanks to the low difficulty it was more "throw extra lives against enemies" than "use strategy". Since we are no pros when it comes to bullet dodging we chose the easy way. Still the game took very long and was quite exhausting. Most likely won't finish the game a second time. Especially since the dungeon is always the same.

This was done mostly with streetpasses between my 3DS and my wife's. (Only three of the monsters were killed by someone other than my wife's mii.) My wife actually finished hers much sooner than mine, since she lucked out on hired mii shirt color.

Cute little game, but not really much here.

Edit: Finished for the second time, mostly with my wife's Mii. It now unlocks Find Mii II, which seems to be a bit deeper.

It was really fun immersing into this again and I'd forgotten that decisions in previous episodes would count in this, although I'm not sure how that is factored in.

From gallery of andrewhodkinson

And here we go again with spoilers:

Spoiler (click to reveal)
I was disappointed that Clem was left alone for most of the episode and that most of the episode was following action or search sequences. I tried to stay on my toes for the real moral decisions that make the game so exciting, but failed to make proper choices for the only two major decisions. In choosing to sneak away from Krista I thought I was just backing up her story that she was alone; the game decided I was abandoning her. In choosing to go to Pete's nephew Nick, I thought Nick had ammo and wasnt bit; but when he blamed me for Pete getting eaten, I realized he didnt appreciate it at all. Oh, and I refused giving that guy water. Tell me what happened buddy, don't just keep asking. That actually seemed like the most significant decision and one that led directly from being bitten by the dog and having to sew up my own arm (pretty gross).

The screenshot of decisions is below.

Far Cry 3 - Beaten on Steam for the first time. It took me 31 hours.

This is a tale of two halves for me. I enjoyed the first half, it's dark, it's fresh, and it's got pieces of Tomb Raider and Far Cry that I love.

The second half of the game was a bit of a let down though. At that point you have all the upgrades, so there's little point doing all the repetitive side stuff, and after a while I found myself wanting to get the game over with. The boss fights, if you can call them that, are weak and anti-climatic. The endings are what I was really disappointed with. I won't say why as not to spoil anything.

Despite my complaints, I really still enjoyed the game. I felt the things I didn't like were souring/clouding my overall experience, so I had to try to keep focused on how good the game is. The combat in an open world setting is very satisfying, especially when you can pull together a string of stealthy knife-to-your-throat takedowns. Give me weapons, give me enemies, and let me go wild... that's all I really want.

I'd rate it around an 8/10 based on my overall enjoyment.

After replaying 'Grand Theft Auto IV: Episodes From Liberty City' I decided to replay GTA4 itself. I started somewhere in november/december and just finished it.

As said, replayed it and finished it for the 2nd time. Had again quit a bit of fun. Did not do 100% but finished the story line and some side quests. Did use cheats for health, weapons and cars quit a bit but it was for fun anyway.

Spoiler (click to reveal)
Did choose the same ending as last time, but while last time I wanted Roman to survive and now was planning to let Kate survive my first date with Kate went horrible and the second was a failure since I was late I decided to let her stew and ignored her the rest of the game. Which was funny because I did call her and talked to her like I was her boyfriend during the game Now however I want to do the alternate ending but I don't want to play the whole game again. I will need to see if I can fix something.

Paper Mario Sticker Star - Nintendo 3DS
Fist time beaten
Main quest beaten, all stickers found
32 hours 32 minutes

This game is very far removed from the rest of the Paper Mario series, which is itself very different from Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, the precursor to the series. Paper Mario Sticker Star is barely an RPG. Mario doesn't earn experience points or level up, your party never grows beyond 1, and the only move you can do in battle is use an item ("stickers" in this game). Mario only gets more powerful by collecting more powerful stickers.

I wasn't really too impressed with the battle system, or the story, or even the platform elements. Pretty much the only fun part of this game is collecting stickers. There's a side quest that involves finding every type of sticker in the game and putting them on display in a sticker museum, and this side quest gave me the most motivation to keep playing. Some stickers are more rare than others, and it's fun to find the ultra-rare ones. Stickers can be hidden around the environment, collected from enemies, bought from shops, or fabricated from less powerful stickers.

If you are a compulsive collector/completionist, then this game might appeal to you. It's not terrible, but I think it's one of the weaker Mario RPG games.
