2015 SaltCon Virtual Flea Market
- Dan WheelerUnited States
Another year, another SaltCon, and that means another Virtual Flea Market!
Same plan as last year... any games that didn't get traded in the math trade, games that you're planning on putting into the physical flea market or the trade table but would be happy to sell or trade before then, or just games you want to get rid of but don't want to deal with bringing to Saltcon without knowing for sure they're going to sell or trade, this is the list for them.
How it works: How you decide to offer your game is up to you. You can list it as an auction with a beginning price or a soft reserve and a closing date, you can list that you're willing to trade it, you can put a game or combination of games up with a price you'll sell it at and either entertain lower offers or not, or any combination or variation of the above, it's entirely up to you. Just make sure you're clear about how you're listing it.
One item listing per item for sale. This just means that instead of listing all your games under one item and saying they're all for sale, which would be confusing, try to keep it to one entry per item with the format you're selling it under. You can do bundles if you're selling them as a group.
As per BGG policy, it's up to the seller to make sure BGG gets its 3% for being such an awesome site that enables our game addiction
It will be up to you and the person you're buying from/selling to to coordinate payment (paypal, cash at the CON, trading games) and when and where you will conduct the exchange.
One further change from last year... if you're going to list something in the flea market, please don't simultaneously list on KSL, as it causes problems when people are bidding or bin on the list and someone buys it on KSL.
If you have any questions, feel free to either GM me privately or add to the comments on the bottom of the list.
And lastly, be nice... if someone is offering something under a BIN only or an auction style with a price that's higher than you think it should be, GM them privately if you feel the need to question them, don't add comments kibitzing their pricing. If you want to offer a lower price than they have listed, do so politely, and it'll be up to the seller to agree, consider it, or just say no.
I will close the list the Wednesday night before SaltCon. Best of luck, and enjoy!
THE LIST IS CLOSED, GO FORTH AND PLAY GAMES!!!
Thank you to everyone who participated!
