Lisa's Winter Weight Loss Challenge Diary

During the Spring challenge, the Summer challenge, and the Autumn challenge I decided to keep a diary (Spring diary, Summer diary, and Autumn diary), as I wanted to log my progress and goals. This seemed to help me along, as I lost over 35lbs altogether, so it's now a tried and trusted method so I'll be doing it again

I've been overweight most of my adult life, apart from a short stint when I lost ~80lbs and immediately put half of it back on (and then it crept almost all the way back...). I moved to Berlin, Germany, from Manchester, UK last year, and since moving, I've lost around 39lbs. Part of this is due to not being able to get the snacks I'm used to eating over here, but I've also been vegan since October 2014, as I was previously a vegetarian but going vegan in Berlin is so easy.
During the Spring weight loss challenge, my weight dropped from 173lbs to 156.6lbs, and although the losses slowed down during the Summer challenge from 156lbs to 146.6lbs, and the Autumn challenge from 147lbs to 137.8lbs, I'm hoping for a decent weight loss again. I've gained a little during the 5 week break, weighing in at 5lbs heavier than the end of the last challenge - but I'm not too worried as I had a huge meal last night! Mum's over for the holidays, so we had to get our eating out done before the Christmas closures and the start of this challenge
I managed to establish a good exercise routine during the Spring challenge, which I kept up during the Summer challenge and now do yoga daily (www.doyouyoga.com) at home, and attend a class or two each week. During the Summer challenge I also added in some strength exercises. I do pretty much all my exercise at home, as I'm stuck in writing my PhD thesis... I slipped off the exercise track a bit due to illness during the Autumn challenge, so I'd like to get back on track in the new year, during this challenge.
I'm vegan and already eat fairly healthy, and I've been restricting calories since around February, and see no need to change there. I track my calories and exercise using MyFitnessPal, and other stats (BMI, fat %, muscle %) using Tactio Health app. I'm going to track my change in weight, body fat, muscle mass, waist size, and BMI.

Finishing stats (12/05/16):
Reboot my exercise routine.
Get to a normal BMI and maintain it.
Aiming to get to 9st (126lbs) - not sure it's possible in this challenge, but we'll see.
Lose 6% of my weight (lose 8.58lbs). This is the challenge aim (134.42lbs).
Stick to 1200 calories.
Waist size TBC.
Daily Headspace meditation. A healthy mind is a healthy body!
