Someone on another site asked if Eclipse was good. I said yes, amazing other than the endgame and to try out the iOS version. And then I checked the App Store (U.S.) and it wasn't there! I downloaded the game from my Purchased list and it opens but I can't seem to get it to log into any online accounts so can only play locally.

What happened? It doesn't look like the 64-bit Conversion took it out, did it? I play on an iPad Air 2 with iOS 10.3.2.

Big Daddy's Creations was the studio that made the app: http://www.bigdaddyscreations.com/

Their last update on their official website and facebook is related to the release of the app, more than a year ago. I believe the studio closed after this released.

The app never received too much of post-launch support if at all. Since there's no studio to give support to the app, it was pulled from sale in all platforms. I believe the intention of the Eclipse license owners is to develop a new app for the second edition with a new studio.

I have it on Steam and looks like its still available there. Though the panel that says "Buy it for a friend" doesn't have a buy button so maybe just the store page is up and there's no way to buy it.

When I was playing it on my Ipad, I was able to get in about 7 games.

If I wanted to play the game IRL, I have no local groups to do that. I'd have to go to a con, which entails a 5 to 8 hour round trip drive, and spending a few hundred $s for hotels, gas, and other expenses.

Former still wins out in my books. However, I'm sure YMMV.

Are others able to have the multiplayer work? Solo is okay, but ideally I'd have two or more iPads and friends in the same room for a game. I probably prefer that to the tabletop game for most games.
