I just upgraded to the Xbox One about a month ago and I am having an issue with my DLC for Battlefield 1. I played BF1 and then downloaded all four add-ons about a month ago. Since then, I have played a couple of other games and today I came back to play "They Shall Not Pass". Much to my infinite annoyance, I could not get it to run at all.

All of the online tutorials that I have encountered talk about downloading your purchases. However, I both bought and downloaded these games in early January. Right now, I am reinstalling BF1 from scratch for lack of a better idea.

Does anyone know how to fix this? If my current idea fails, then I will pretty much be out of $60.

Is your system connected online? I wonder if an update is needed for the game before it'll let you play it.

Deleting and re-installing the game is usually a good start as well, so let us know how it goes. If that doesn't work, Xbox support is pretty good, so I'm sure they could help you out.

Sometimes DLC gets hidden and not loaded depending on the game. To check available content for the game pull up Games & Apps, thumbstick to the game in question and press the Menu button on the controller just like you'd do to delete it. Select Manage Game (I think that's the one, not sitting in front of XB1X right now) and that will pull up content available for downloading and installing.
I've had several games hide stuff there. Far Cry 5 put a bunch of skins in there that I had to download, Dishonored 2 put a free code for Dishonored in there and IIRC Forza Horizon 3 put cars in there.

Another XB1 fix for many random problems is resetting the cache on the XB1. Power down, unplug console for about 10 seconds, plug in a power back up. Think you can do the same thing by hard cycling the XB1 by holding the power button on the console for around 10 seconds during power up, but not completely sure. I always do the unplug method.
Ive had to do this for many games that just get hung and lock the console. Most recently I've had to do this with Forza Horizon 4 and Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

Thanks for your replies, Ryan and Kevin. The problem was that I misunderstood the nature of the DLC since you have to be logged on to Xbox Live to access the maps and campaigns that I purchased. I got Xbox Live and played for a few hours last night.
