When I was about 12/13 I loved a game I had off a pc demo disc. I can remember it was set under water. I think it was a shooting game. I think something rotated around and it was like a sphere or square shape. It was 3D and cgi in appearance. I’m not sure what magazine it came with though. This was about 2004/2005.

Tantalizing. I personally didn't play much on PC at the time of 2004/2005, but a lot here did, so perhaps we can find your game. Do you remember if you travelled into the screen, or sideways?

This is the place to ask but you may be hard-pressed to find out what it was without more details. I'm one of our oldest PC gamers and frequently am able to provide the game in question for most of these types of topics and even I have no idea what game this could be. Partly that's due to the limited nature of the info you've provided here, though.

Was the demo disc from PC Gamer? If not, you might want to look up pictures of demo discs to see one from a company that looks familiar. Once you know who released the disc, you can probably search for discs released in '04/'05.

If it happens to be from PC Gamer, this archive of demo discs may come in handy.
