I thot I'd give it another go with these micros. Let me know if this would work as an alternate Undertale fan badge.

I would like to see half an O on the left and half a G on the right. It's too simple now.

Also, please change the thread title back. We don't need to see the word OPEN in an active thread, and the years it spans can be added whenever it's locked, if that's in any way useful.

Now that you mention it... it actually do make it look blurry rather than outline it.

Added some more contrast, which seems to have sharpened it up a bit - but maybe it was too much contrast?

Mages of Mystralia fan

I'm looking for some help with this. I made the icon by drawing circles and lines in Photoshop, but I think it's fairly obvious that the result is not the greatest. How do you expert microbadgers go about making tiny geometric shapes?

And please forgive me if I don't respond. I'm about to have limited computer access for a week.

I actually think this looks pretty good, I'd buy it. I have added the game on my wishlist after I read your thoughts about it in beaten games list. So I might later this year have a need for this badge

I'm not sure if there's any way to make it look any better in this tiny real estate. Then again, I'm not one of those expert microbadgers either

Half an O and half a G would look the same, a half circle. There's no space to add those to the rest of the letters and still have it perceptible.

The 4 arrows are a widespread image for microbadges/microbadge related stuff. The BAD in the center conveys precisely the idea I want to pass: BAD in microbadge.

Thanks for your input!

So looking at them, I'd consider backing the around away to the corners by one px.

Second, consider giving the letters a stroke. White letters with a black stroke, and red arrows might improve legibility. '

OTOH, it could be argued that improved legibility makes it a good badge...

"Around" should be "arrows".

Are the microbadgers considered the most evil the most likely to get a microbadge saying they are?

I prefer the Original and Contrast. It seems that somehow the contrast pic got smaller, like it got shrinked more...

Original

Contrast

If you could get some of the brightness and contrast from the second into the first, while maintaining the smooth edges of the first, it would be perfect.

Did you increase contrast on the outlined version? If so, try to do it in the original one.

It did get smaller; I changed size of canvas to 18x18 and then scaled everything to 16x16 again; the reason is how close cropped the original is, would not make it possible to outline the left part.

I will try to contrast the original one during the week, and see how it goes.
