Good enough and having solo play options is a plus.

Admit it, you knew I would find a way to bring Star Trek into this thread...
For a moment I thought you were pulling my leg and Star Trek was on the wall!

Caylus is fun, only got to play it once though and my friend was really annoying me in cutting off all our moves, don't like it to much if people do that.

Robo Rally, another fun game but I suck at it. Played it two or three times I never seem to get at the first checkpoint on any map. There is always something going wrong. Last time I even got through all my respawns.

Last week I got to play a couple of games: Nightfall, Yggdrasil, Roll through the Ages, Ice Road Truckers (prototype game) and Lorrein. I hope that I get to play Arkham Horror or Tales of Arabian Nights this week.

Why am I not surprised you are playing a Star Trek game!!! So how is it? I am very curious about a Star Trek themed Co-op game.

@Bruno: All the new Star Trek games are pretty good! Get more!

@Barad: I love Arkham and Tales, but Nightfall is also excellent. I still want to get my hands on Yggdrasil.

How can you suck at Roborally? It's all about getting bigger guns and shooting everyone else!

Its not bad, I played it solo so far and it is enjoyable.
Still I am more of a wargamer, and I am not really the right guy to give you a proper review on this...

Its not very long, I finish it alone using all 4 characters in about 3 hours. It has some interesting mechanics but it is rather luck dependent, the components are good, but the board is rather simplistic.

For me it was a worthy buy...

Unfortunately, no my friend.
I hope you enjoy it.

Now tell me, what you prefer best, hex and counter or block?

Both. Though the only block games I own Europe Engulfed and Victory: World War II I would like to own more block games.

You? What wargame(s) do you like best?

Most of mine are hex and counter, and about half are PnP.
I dont really own any proper block wargames, and since I play most of them by myself I tend more to appreciate hex and counter.

Have you ever tried any PnP (print and play) wargame?

Finally got some Colossal Arena plays in this weekend. Bought the game for 9 bucks and change a while ago. It's a pretty fun, quick play. Good art on the cards in my opinion too.

Well now that looks pretty good, I must remember to print that.

I dont have any pictures of my PnP games, but here are those wargames I own and recomend:

Sangre y Fuego, very good solo game with 2 battles of the spanish civil war. The down part is that its in spanish.

First Blood: The Guadalcanal campaign it doesnt have many pieces and its rather good.

Charge at the Alamo, very easy filler wargame, also doesnt require much work to cut. This one isnt really hex and counter, more like hex and area.

Battle for Moscow, a classic not more needs to be said.

And if your into the Warhammer 40K universe Battle for Amageddon.

The games I have played of Caylus, people have been super nice with the Provost. Usually it is not involved at all, and if it does cut someone off it's only at the beginning of the game.
I'm hoping as I play more it will get more involved, or I will be the one to use it myself

Right now I'm hooked with Chicago Express and Cosmic Encounter. Two awesome yet very different games that are my new obsession! I also want to play a bit more of Twilight Imperium (Third Edition): Shards of the Throne as the only game I've been able to set up so far was a bit of a bummer, with only four players due to some friends dropping out a couple hours before the arranged time.

Also want to try Dominant Species and Power Grid: The First Sparks, both of which are gathering dust right now

First Blood and BfMoscow are on my "still2make (ever)"-list.

As for Sangre y Fuego: I don't do solo. When I'm alone and want to wage war, it's done on my PC (Shogun 2, Compagny of Heroes and such)

Fair enough, you have a good pair of choices there.
Still do you know enough spanish to play?
I also added another spanish wargame from the designer of Sangre y Fuego.
Its a naval simulation, but I never manage to print it myself blush, but I think it might also be interesting.
Its Azul y Rojo.
