In this unique sport, two partners ride a jet machine, the latest in watercraft technology, through courses set up across urban riverways. They compete not only in speed and maneuvering, but in marksmanship—the Jetter steers the craft, while the Shooter fires various types of water weapons at their opponents. Each league-approved jet machine is equipped with special sensors, which register hits from opposing Shooters and shut down temporarily if they take too many. (Of course, safety comes first, and that's why each craft is also equipped with advanced energy shields, which protect the racers from both shots and collisions.)
