Ultima VII Part Two: Serpent Isle is the eighth game in the Ultima series by Lord British, aka. Richard Garriott. It uses the same engine as Ultima VII: The Black Gate with a few improvement such as a rag doll style inventory system and larger NPC portraits. The game has a large number of links to previous Ultima games, especially Ultima I, being set on one of the lost land masses of that game.
Following the events of Ultima VII: The Black Gate, the Avatar finds himself stranded on Britannia. Following the discovery of the Serpent Pillard, the Avatar and his companinons set sail for the Serpent Isle in pursuit of Batlin. Once there, they find a grave imbalance between the forces of chaos and order. They must strive to return balance to the land, all the while beinf taunted by the Guardian
