Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 2 was developed by Polarbit for the iPhone and iPod Touch and was released on May 27, 2010 on the App Store. The game features ten playable characters (including the titular Crash Bandicoot) and twelve unique tracks to compete on. Players can use power-ups and weapons gathered on the tracks to hinder opponents. The game features a new online multiplayer mode that allows up to four human players to play together over a Wi-Fi connection on three different modes. Unlike the "4+"-rated Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 3D, the sequel is rated "9+" for "infrequent/mild cartoon or fantasy violence".
