User Summary:

Dynasty Warriors 5: Empires is the second expansion for Koei's Dynasty Warriors 5. In this iteration, the game places a much larger emphasis on strategy by borrowing ideas from other games including the Romance of the Three Kingdoms series. In Empire Mode, the play can enact policies, prepare battle tactics, try to use diplomacy instead of force, and even just delegate responsibilities to others. A second player can also join in the battle once you have a second general in your army which is great for those that like to hack-and-slash with others. This expansion also adds five new stages to DW5 along with 25 new policies which brings the total up to 75.

Dynasty Warriors 5: Empires was released for the PS2 and XBox360 in 2006.
