The player is a spy who must track down and prevent crimes by other spy networks. The game is played as a series of cases to solve. Clues are provided as sightings of known agents, airline tickets, bank transactions and intercepted encoded transmissions. The player has a number of different approaches to solving the case but each action takes time and the case must be solved and the villains arrested before the crime is committed. There are a number of mini-games involved such as decoding intercepted transmissions, a circuitry puzzle for tapping phone lines, tailing suspect cars, and the most involved one, breaking into suspect buildings and searching for evidence.
