User Summary
Birds of Prey puts the player in a fictional conflict between Warsaw Pact and NATO, on a fictional map. Each side had three airbases and carriers. It featured 40 different flyable planes. Flyable airplanes included not only top line fighters of the time (like the F-14, F-15, Mig-29, A-10, SU-25, Harrier and Yak-35 VTOL), but also transports like the C-130 Hercules and bombers like the Tupolev. It had 12 different mission profiles and a battle campaign. The battlefield was dynamic and did convey the feel of a major struggle.
Although the DOS version was released a year later than the original Amiga release, graphics on the latter were better.
