Hamlet is an indie production point-and-click adventure game developed by mif2000. The game is a spin on Shakespeare’s Hamlet, and it follows a time travelling scientist that has been transported back to the time of Hamlet and his associates. The player controls the scientist once he arrives in the past, and must rescue Ophelia from Claudius. Hamlet was knocked out when the scientist teleported in, so he will be no help in the endeavor.
Gameplay is broken into a series of puzzles and brainteasers that can be solved using a point-and-click interface. These puzzles are strung together into a storyline, and once the player completes a puzzle they will be advanced to the next stage. There are 25 levels included in the game, and the brainteasers are primarily completed by clicking on stage items in the correct order. There is no inventory or dialogue in the game.
