Uchi Mata is a Judo simulation for one or two players.
Gameplay consists of moving towards the opponent, and once the player is in a good position, trying to execute the appropriate movement (or combination of movements) to beat the opponent. Almost all the known Judo moves are present in the game (including illegal ones). The player must also monitor the strength and stamina bars, and sometimes must back off in order to regain energy.
The game was developed with the help of Brian Jacks, a British Judo Olympic champion.
