Grom are greenish imp like creatures found living in small tribal like societies but larger Grom camps can be found throughout Antaloor. While still primitive, usually wearing nothing more than a loincloth or jerkin they have their own culture and customs. The totemic gods they praise are often depicted on their shields. They favor hatchets, maces, clubs, can set traps, and are resistant to fire. Grom shamans typically use fire or necromantic spells.
The heaviest concentrations of Grom can be found on Thalmont and the island Alsorna. The shade of their skin is indicative of their age, the younger ones being lighter and then darkening with age. Rarely is a Grom ever found alone and when in distress others will rush to its aid. They are well known thieves, as Grom are naturally attracted to shiny objects.
A finely dressed and well spoken Grom named Grim Grimdahl was living on an island in the archipelago. He was far from the primitive Groms of elsewhere, living as a scientist and inventor that dabbled in pyrotechnics.
