Elementals were the purest living forms of the four basic elements—air, earth, fire, and water—as well as several other, less common elements. They were intelligent, self-aware entities that were made up of the matter of their home plane. They could be summoned to any plane of existence, except the plane of concordance to their element. For example, summoning a fire elemental to the Elemental Plane of Water took more magical power than mortals could conceivably wield.

Air Elemental |
Whenever they made the rare attempt to speak, it resembled either the high-pitched shriek of a tornado or the low rumbling moan of a thunder storm.
Earth Elemental |
These elementals had a vaguely humanoid shape, with club-like arms made of jagged stone and a head made of both dirt and stone. Occasionally chunks of minerals, gems, or metals were set within their stony bodies. Their bodies typically moved at a slow, trodding pace.
Fire Elemental |
They were fast and agile creatures whose touch could set objects aflame. Owing to their fiery nature, they were unable to enter water. They were capable of speaking Ignan although they rarely spoke.
Water Elemental |
These elementals typically resembled a cresting wave of water. They could easily disappear within a body of water, becoming indistinguishable from all other liquid. They had a highly developed sense of taste.
Para-Elemental - elemental planes intersecting.
Smoke Para-Elemental |
Appeared as concentrated clouds of black fog while flying through the air, often directed by any strong winds, while they appeared to be a dark sooty mass when drifting low to the ground.
Ooze Para-Elemental |
Made of mud and possessing mutable forms, ooze para-elementals were capable of shifting their way through the smallest and tightest of crevices.
Magma Para-Elemental |
Composed of entirely of lava and molten rock. Magma para-elementals were particularly prone to bursting into acts of violence. They also took great pleasure in melting solid objects.

Ice Para-Elemental |

Quasi-Elemental - pure elemental intersecting with energy.

Ash Quasi-Elemental |

Lightning Quasi-Elemental |

Mineral Quasi-Elemental |
Rare beings that for unknown reasons, took somewhat distorted shapes of living beings found on the Prime Material Plane. Mineral quasi-elementals could easily move through stone akin to a xorn. They could quickly regenerate as long as they were in contact with rock, ground, or any other solid earth element matter.

Radiance Quasi-Elemental |
These elementals looked to be rapidly turning spheres of multicolored light. When they reduced their amount of spinning, they took on an appearance similar to that of a will-o'-wisp. Some were known to mistake them for lightning quasi-elementals.

With mastery of shadow, the elemental was a more dangerous combatant if both it and its target were in darkness or shade. However, when in sunlight or a daylight spell, the elemental was drastically weakened.
Storm Elemental |
The incarnated the power of storms and tempests, wielding thunder and lightning. Being creatures of pure thunder and lighting, storm elementals were not only unharmed, but actually healed by, any magic or effect that produced electricity or sonic energy.

Necromental |
Undead remnants of elementals. Necromentals were warped and evil, retaining only a fraction of the awareness and intelligence they had in life.
