From Wikipedia

"Rising Star Games is a video games publisher formed as a joint business venture between Scandinavian distributor Bergsala and Japanese video game publisher and content developer Intergrow Inc.

Its focus is to publish selected titles from Japanese companies for release in European and Australian markets.[2] The company is based in Luton in Bedfordshire, England. So far the company has published over 50 titles for Wii, PSP, Nintendo DS, and PlayStation 2.

In late 2007, the company was surrounded with controversy over what appeared to be its decision to censor the European version of No More Heroes, though it was later revealed that the decision was made by its parent company and the developer Grasshopper Manufacture to release the same version in Europe as was released in Japan.

On March 14, 2008, Rising Star Games released Harvest Moon: Magical Melody on Wii. The game was originally released for the Nintendo GameCube in Japan in 2005, and then translated for release in the Americas in 2006, but this version was not released in Europe.

Rising Star Games' catalogue is currently distributed in Australia by Nintendo Australia and Namco Bandai Partners. Most of Rising Star Games' catalogue was distributed by Red Ant Enterprises until Mid-January 2009 when the latter went into external receivership and administration. The deal between AFA Interactive and Rising Star Games ended in September 2009 and all Rising Star Games's catalogue not distributed by Nintendo Australia are distributed by Namco Bandai Partners, who also distribute in Australia for Konami, Eidos, Atari and Codemasters."
