3D Methods is a one man indie game studio based in California. It was formed by Jacob Medina in early 2011. I design, program, market, and create artwork for all of my games. Music and sound effects are from royalty free sources. App icon art for Cryptic Caverns, Cryptic Kingdoms, and Cryptic Cosmos is commissioned art by the talented artist Bramasta Aji.
My goal is to create fun, imaginative, and thought provoking games. I love games and I have been playing mobile games since I was 12 years old on the original Gameboy and Gameboy Color. I started creating games back in 2008, but never released any completed works. I started messing around in computer graphics as far back as 2004 using software such as Vue and Bryce. The name 3D Methods comes from the way in which I create artwork for my games, using 3D modeling software.
I’m currently working on classic adventure style games so check back for more news and updates on my current and future projects!
