Better Description Needed

User Summary

This franchise is intended to highlight games for which the description is lacking depth and substance, or has one that is from another website. It is easy to lift text from other websites, but a good user written summary is what will benefit VGG the most and separate it from the other gaming websites. If you help us target and improve such descriptions, you will be rewarded!

You can help in two ways:

1. Add this franchise to existing game listings: A game description should cover three major elements: theme, story, and gameplay. If you see a game description which lacks these elements, please submit a correction to the game, requesting that it be added to this franchise. We will shoot you a small amount of GG for tagging these game entries.

2. Improve Descriptions: Check out this franchise and see whether you know or would be willing to research any of the games included. If so:

1.) Edit the description and be sure to explain the theme, story, and gameplay.

2.) Then submit a correction to the game requesting that this franchise be removed.

3.) A VGG admin will check your edits and reward you appropriately for your assistance!

A Good Description:

• Ideally what we want to see is a good user written summary that covers the game's theme, story, and gameplay.
• It should be in-depth without giving to much away.
• A sentence or single paragraph is what we are trying to fix. The new description should be at least two paragraphs, but less is sometimes acceptable.

Attribution and Formatting:

All descriptions on VGG need to have their source credited. Those written by VGG users need to have User Summary at the top of the description box. These must also be formatted appropriately so that links show up right and text configuration on the site is uniform. If you need help:

• The Data Entry Guide has a section on how to use the Format Tool. It is easy to learn and will save you a lot of time.
• Alternatively, you can copy and past the following text into the description. Be sure to get all the apostrophes ('): '''User Summary'''
