The Xbox One Wireless Controller is an evolution of the Xbox 360 Controller.
Changes include a new force-feedback system called Impulse Triggers, with increased numbers of rumble motors, allowing more directional feedback. The battery pack is more flush to the rear, the D-pad has been improved and the controller features LEDs that allow the Kinect sensor to identify it's location. The radio link has been upgraded to allow a greater data-transfer rate, thus increasing the quality of audio through headsets plugged into the controller.
Controllers packaged with the Day One edition of the console featured the text "Day One 2013" on the front.
