The Sales Curve was a video game publisher based in the UK and founded in 1988. It was also known as Sales Curve Interactive, or SCI. They published games under the label Storm between 1990 and 1993. In 2005, they purchased the British company Eidos Interactive, and has since released games only under the Eidos brand.
In 2006, Warner Bros Entertainment bought 10% shares in SCI/Eidos, and in 2008 incrased this to 35%.
In December 2008, SCI changed their name to Eidos plc. In February 2009, Square Enix announced a takeover of Eidos plc, and in July the same year, the company name changed to Square Enix Europe. The developper studios kept their Eidos name.
