Sony Imagesoft (formerly CSG Imagesoft) was a British software game publisher/developer established in 1989. Sony purchased the company in 1992. The main focus was publishing and developing games for the 8 bit NES, 16-bit consoles and PC. With the arrival of the PlayStation game console, the subsidiary was later dismantled and absorbed into Sony Computer Entertainment, as Sony Interactive Studios America, which later became 989 Studios. They were also known of Publishing Video Game Adaptions of Movies distributed by: Sony Pictures[clarification needed], such as: Bram Stoker's Dracula, Last Action Hero, Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, 3 Ninjas Kick Back, Hook, Sewer Shark and more.
