Nocturnal Entertainment Australia (NEA) is a privately owned company, and is located in Melbourne, Australia. NEA was formed in 2002, and spent its early years experimenting with a 'social networking' style of game development. This development process led to the creation of "Catapult" (a fully integrated tool and specialised language used to create games for the Gameboy Advance(tm)), and culminated in the release of Ultimate Arcade Games(tm), a Gameboy Advance(tm) title wholly developed by NEA, and published by Telegames USA. Nocturnal has since relaunched (with a more conventional development model), and has opened a new studio located in Melbourne's East. Our small (but experienced) team now provides services to various clients, in both the video games industry and the wider IT industry.
