These games were developed by Stephen N. Curtis and Mark Jacobs for Mastertronic. While designed for the Amstrad CPC and ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64 and MSX were also used as platforms. The basic plot of both is to control a robot to destroy a supercomputer, although the robot's gliding motion in the first game becomes a hopping motion in the second, more difficult, game.
Later games were developed by Stephen Curtis and included a game (Terra Cognita) set in the future where miners come across and accidentally awaken an apparently inactive robot. The final game, Into Oblivion is set after the destruction of the supercomputer, but with planets still overrun by Droids and other creatures, which must be avoided by the player in their attempt to reach a 'safe planet'.
