Attendee Scheduled Events
We're excited to see all the awesome things that "just happen" at BGG♥FAM! We don't have the logistical resources to run all the different kinds of events that many of you want to participate in. Here's where we turn it over to the community. If you have an idea for an event, and you're confident you can get 30-50 people to join in, and you don't need any official support other than dedicated space, let us know (firstname.lastname@example.org).
What if I arrive early?
We expect some of you to arrive on Thursday, before the convention opens. If you do arrive early, this is the convention Set-Up day. We welcome and encourage and invite help with various set-up activities (badge and bag stuffing, library straightening, and various other odd jobs). Please find someone with a radio attached to them and we can direct you to a location.
Otherwise, the Made In Texas Hall will be set aside for gaming on Thursday evening if you just can't wait to start the convention until the OFFICIAL start time on Friday. We do ask that you remain in those areas and not "wander" the spaces. You will be put to work if you are wandering.
NO Gaming will be allowed in the other large ballrooms, the lobby area or in the Exhibitor Hall (NO EXCEPTIONS).
Also, if you are new to the Dallas/Fort Worth area or new to Texas, there are many things to see and do. Feel free to spend your early time away from the hotel and see the sites. Click on this Dallas-Fort Worth Area Info

Why is my game/event not listed on the official schedule?
Most likely, your event is just you and some friends getting together to do something, so your event is "not officially sponsored by BGG" and therefore we provide no official man-power or resources to make it happen. The focus of BGG♥FAM is Open Gaming and as such we try to keep the Official events to a minimum.
Unofficial Events/Meet-ups can be scheduled through the BGG♥FAM Forum threads: (Thread TBD) or through the wiki sign-ups shown in "Game Scheduling" section above.
