Attendee Badges

Registration opens for these in March for BGG.CON and in September for BGG.CON Spring. An attendee badge and wristband is required to enter all convention spaces (including the Exhibitor Halls, all game rooms, and the Library, etc.) and participate in ALL events (including Proto Alley by UnPub, Designer/Publisher Speed Dating, Game Show, Flea Market, etc.)

Attendees should receive a registration confirmation e-mail including a link to the Badge Editor. Attendees may use the badge editor to update the avatar/image and BGG user ID and Name on the badge.

Attendee badges are non-shareable. However, they are fully transferable to someone else before the badge edit deadline.

Exhibitor Badges

Exhibitors will be contacted directly by BGG Event Staff prior to the Event to purchase badges for their staff. Exhibitors must notify BGG Event Staff before the badge edit deadline of all associated personnel (either volunteer or paid).

Exhibitors are required to wear their badge and wristband just like everyone else. The Exhibitor badge with the wristband provides the same privileges as the attendee badge, plus early access each day to the Exhibit Halls for set up. No one will be allowed in the Exhibit Halls outside of those individuals with and Exhibitor badge.

Press Badges

Press must purchase their badges just as regular attendees and then must request Press access by contacting and include verifiable press credentials.

Press are required to wear their badge and wristband just like everyone else. A press badge and wristband provide the same benefits as attendee badges plus access to the Exhibit Hall during BGG.CON on the first day (non-sales day for exhibitors). Press badges do NOT provide early or late access to Exhibit Halls on any other day.

Premium Badges

Premium Badges for BGG.CON will be available for purchase prior to other badge types at a higher purchase rate. Premium Badges will look just like attendee badges and convey some benefits prior to and up to event check-in (see BGGCON Premium Badges for more information), but in all other respects convey the same access as attendee badges when worn in conjunction with the wristband.
