Fitness-Based Common Skills
Athletics climbing, swimming, throwing, and gymnastics
Brawling punching, kicking, grappling, and parrying
Driving operation of motor vehicles such as automobiles, motorcycles, and trucks
Finesse sleight of hand tricks, pilfering, lockpicking, and safe-cracking
Firearms use and general maintenance of pistols, rifles, and shotguns
Melee use of clubs, staves, knives, and swords in combat
Stealth moving around quietly and without evidence

Fitness-Based Martial Skills
These skills require the expenditure of double the normal
amount of points, and cannot be used without training.
Martial Arts advanced techniques for brawling that provide an edge over normal training
Weapon Arts advanced techniques for melee that provide an edge over normal training

Awareness-Based Common Skills
Gambling playing games of chance by way of deducing odds and bluffing

Music designing and playing musical scores

Reasoning-Based Common Skills
Commodities appraising the value of antiques, gems, jewelry, and other items of trade
Computers operation, hacking, and basic repair of computer systems
General Knowledge knowledge of limited historical, geographical, political, social, and trivial information
Legends study of the practices and origins of ancient and modern mystical beliefs, including the occult, superstitions, and mythology
Mechanics use, design, and repair of mechanical and electrical devices, such as combustion engines, gears, and toasters; this does not apply to electronic components, although it does apply to the mechanical aspects of electronic devices
Medicine knowledge of healing and treatment
Streetwise foraging for food and shelter, and otherwise surviving in urban areas
Survival foraging for food and shelter, and otherwise surviving in the wilderness
Theology study of the various forms of religion, as well as their doctrines, histories, and effects on society

Cultural Sciences study of beliefs, customs, practices, and origins of ancient civilizations—
archaeology, anthropology, sociology
Behavioral Sciences study of the human psyche, covering psychology, mental illness, and mood-altering pharmaceuticals; psychiatry is studied when the character is also proficient with the medicine skill
Biological Sciences knowledge of animal and human biology and pathology
Physical Sciences advanced knowledge of physics, advanced mathematics, and chemistry
Structural Sciences knowledge of civil and architectural engineering
Technical Sciences U knowledge of electronics, computer, and other technical studies along the frontier of modern knowledge
Influence-Based Common Skills
Negotiation bartering and persuading others to one’s advantage
Performance orating, singing, and acting
Seduction tempting others by way of sexual attraction to one’s advantage
Street Cred using contacts to discover information, locate people, and procure goods
