BACKGROUND

Born in the mountains of Ostalin. In his childhood, according to his tribe's tradition, Lunar was trained as a hunter, but instead of tracking skills he developed significant talents in setting hunting traps and ambushes, and hiding in plain sight. One of the elders of the clan (with a more shadowy and unknown past) noted this and took him as his private padavan, and taught him to perfect his skills. In the view of the coalition, Lunar was sent by this elder to Gate Pass and Shahalesti clans, to negotiate their support, and to bring news from the outer world.

Passing Dassen, he walked through a nasty mire where he got some strange fever which rendered him ill and delirious very quickly. Skadi found him lying in the gutter, barely alive. As a cleric, she was morally compelled to heal him, and since then they travel together. During his delirious stage, he mumbled a lot of what he would never tell a stranger, so Skadi has some insight into his story, and the coalition business. He suspects that she knows, but they never bring the matter up, and he wants to stay friendly with her out of gratitude for saving his life.
